What would you do first, if the world slowly opened up again?
After Covid-19 I Will... Wall was a public chalk wall in front of Het Bos and Kavka Oudaan in Antwerp, Belgium, created during the first phase of the pandemic in collaboration with LetsTalk Belgium & Stadsdichter Seckou.
Inspired by Candy Chang’s Before I Die wall, the project responded to the moment of isolation during the COVID-19 Pandamic, where people were physically separated from each other and public space became one of the few places where connection could still happen.
Sagitta Creatives helped turn the wall into a clear and visible invitation by creating the large lettering at the top and making the sentences readable for people passing by on foot, by bike or by car.
By asking people to complete the sentence with chalk, the wall became a shared portrait of hope, longing and small promises, reminding the neighbourhood that even in uncertainty, people were still imagining life together.
